Hung out with Josh at his house today. Ate lunch (curry & rice & roast beef, yummy!), played with his dog Bentley, and watched part of HP7pt1. He has a track meet today (shot put) and tomorrow (discus) so we’re going to go to Six Flags on Sunday or Monday instead of our original plan.

I’m eating a red velvet cupcake now.

4 Day Weekend!

LHS is giving us back a snow day we never used up.

Six Flags this weekend!

dreamongood:

You say you hate when people change. You feel like everyone who changes faintly slips out of your life, or they’re not fit for it anymore. You quietly hold anger upon those who change, and you have these irrational thoughts that you are still the same person as you used to be—that you yourself will never change. But the reality is, as long as you exist in this world, as long as you are breathing and your heart beats, and as long as there is such a thing as time, you will change—no matter what. Whether you already have, or you will. Perhaps you are in the process of it at this very exact moment. Regardless, it’ll come, sooner or later. Change is inevitable.

dreamongood:

I think some people settle for what they have because they feel comfort—even if they aren’t truly satisfied. That’s one reason why people don’t go off and chase after their dreams, or what their heart desires. They settle for what they are or have at the expense of what they could be or could have. I guess it’s just the fear of change, and the fear of taking risks. When in fact, taking risks are simply the key into opening new doors in life. Life should be all about taking risks.

I don’t even keep track of the day/time anymore.

I just want to be free from all of this and fall in love with summer.

Finally bothered to cut my bangs.

Holy crap I let them grow out so much. Cut off 6 inches to get them back to normal length.

Watched ‘A Knight’s Tale’ at Josh’s house today.
One of my boyfriend’s close friends has decidedly named me “The Ultimate Bro.”

Heckyes.

Letter Of Note of the Day: Wedding season once again is upon us, and a June 1971 letter from future U.S. President Ronald Reagan to his soon-to-be-wed son, Michael, contains advice for the groom that stands the test of time.
An excerpt:

If you truly love a girl, you shouldn’t ever want her to feel, when she sees you greet a secretary or a girl you both know, that humiliation of wondering if she was someone who caused you to be late coming home, nor should you want any other woman to be able to meet your wife and know she was smiling behind her eyes as she looked at her, the woman you love, remembering this was the woman you rejected even momentarily for her favors.
Mike, you know better than many what an unhappy home is and what it can do to others. Now you have a chance to make it come out the way it should. There is no greater happiness for a man than approaching a door at the end of a day knowing someone on the other side of that door is waiting for the sound of his footsteps.

Story of a Five Year-Old Avenger, Meeting the Avengers

“Hi, Loki!” my wife said (100% sure she didn’t know Tim Hiddleston’s name). “Can my son get a picture with you?” she asked. “Can I put him on my shoulders?” Loki asks. “Um … okay?” is Jill’s response and hands Tom Hiddleston our son.  He hoists him up on to his shoulders (I should mention that this guy is like 8 feet tall), and my wife takes out her Blackberry, only to find that it’s on its last battery leg. Nonetheless she manages to get a couple of shots.  Hiddleston puts Edison down, shakes his hand and says goodbye…

… Evans crouches down next to Edison, who extends his hand and shakes the hand of The First Avenger. “Can I see your shield?” Evans asks and Edison hands his battered toy shield over. “Wow, you’re getting a lot of use out of this. You fighting a lot of bad guys with this?” he asks.  Chris Evans and Edison proceed to have a conversation about the finer points of shields and fighting the enemy.

omg so cute

I just want to point out though: “100% sure she didn’t know Tim Hiddleston’s name

Tim Hiddleston’s

Tim

lol (yes I’m aware it may be a typo. but it’s funny)

I’m so confused and I don’t know what to do.
